Axiom.TV to Launch Internet TV Channel with 33,000 Free Movies
Axiom.TV
will Beta launch the first comprehensive technology to make Internet TV user- friendly, legal and safe for families. To celebrate its international Beta launch, Axiom.TV will give away one of the most beloved family movies of all time - "Benji" - to the first 33,000 families.
"It's an appropriate promotion, because 33 years ago 'Benji' was released in every drive-in theater and became the first big screen movie that the Internet generation can remember," explained Dan Cobb, president of Axiom.TV. "Now the 'Benji' generation is grown up, they want to enjoy these movies all over again, but with their kids."
Axiom.TV is currently in final negotiations with several of the major studios for additional movie content, soon to be released. While in negotiations, Axiom.TV will offer discounts on traditional DVD sales by mail. Axiom.TV has almost 1,000 of the most popular DVDs including 'Cars," the "Chronicles of Narnia," and even all of those hard to find retro-family shows that we loved watching as kids including "Treasure Island", the original "Tarzan," "Flubber" and, of course, "Benji."
Axiom.TV offers a family-focused video library, screened by a panel of moms and faith-based movie review partners, so protective parents can shop without concern. In order to build awareness of its new movie downloading service, Axiom.TV, has reduced its traditional DVDs to be among the lowest prices on the Internet. Some of these DVDs are less than $6.50 plus shipping of only $1.73. During the Beta launch, Axiom.TV downloads will sell as low as $2.00 or even free.
The new service is powered by the VeriSign Intelligent CDN, which leverages VeriSign's global infrastructure and patented peer-assisted Kontiki Delivery Management System to offer faster downloads and a superior viewing experience for end users at a fraction of the cost of traditional content delivery networks.
Axiom.TV will be the world's first Internet TV channel created to combat the recent trends in online piracy and pornography. Axiom.TV has developed a website that makes the movie download process user-friendly for all ages and for all computer skill-levels, taking the next necessary step to blur the line between a user's PC, TV and DVD player.

DRM is a joke. As much as we think the drm is working its not. Just like you watch television and record the content on a VCR yes a VCR or a capture card its really all the same. The problem has been around for years now the only thing that needs to be done is a penal system where you randomly visit homes and shut down the perps operation. Fine them and make examples of them. My kids know how to upload and rip stuff from all types of sources so its pointless. The best way to combat the piracy is ..... I wish I knew. Can't lick em join em. Give em so much content the drive gets filled. Benteractive.com will be offering original movies soon so be prepared.
