Jupitermedia's Web Video Summit Spring ‘07 Starts Next Week
Jupitermedia announced that the conference faculty for the upcoming Web Video Summit Spring '07 consists of nearly 100 visionary technologists, creatives, and business experts who will help shape the future of the Internet through Web video.
Debuting at the San Jose Marriott from June 27 – 28, 2007,
Web Video Summit Spring ‘07
will feature the latest industry developments, new companies, hot products, video screenings and special events, along with a conference program designed to enable video professionals to re-think the way they approach Web video projects and to adapt to this rapidly-changing medium.
TVover.net's Curtis Sund and Judson Skoog-Smith will be on the scene so keep an eye out for them and please introduce yourself. Sund will also be moderating the "iPhone and other Video Encoding Challenges" panel early on Thursday.
"We are delighted that many of the industry's experts will be here discussing the hottest topics related to Web Video," said Dave Burstein, Conference Chair and Editor, DSL Prime and Future of TV. "We've created what we consider a ‘must attend' event for producers and anyone who needs to know the future of Video on the Web," added Burstein.

Citizen Steve Grove of YouTube will take a break from interviewing all the Presidential candidates and speak on "Making News New" joined by J.D. Lasica, Brian Conley of Alive in Baghdad, and Josh Wolf, out of jail after 200 days for refusing to turn his video reporting over to a grand jury.
Graham Leggat, Director of the San Francisco Film Festival, will chair a session with Justin Kan of Justin.tv and award-winning San Francisco Vloggers. A dozen other video award winners will be featured during the event.
Suranga Chandratillake, Founder, blinkx, and Tom Wilde, CEO, Podzinger BBN Delta are joined by AOL's chief architect Dr. Pete Kocks, Mary Hodder of Dabble, and David Lee of Stumbleupon will discuss Video search using voice recognition to find content.
