Optical Entertainment Network (OEN) has launched its FISION Triple Play Plus Services in Houston. OEN's bundle of services includes IPTV services, VoIP and symmetrical broadband Internet services at speeds of up to 10 Mbps. OEN has made this service available to residential customers, multiple dwelling units and business customers starting in the Northwest section of Houston.

Because FISION IPTV signals are not digitized or compressed at the headend, the picture quality is supreme and the unlimited bandwidth of FTTH technology enables FISION to offer the largest channel line up with over 85 premium networks and over 40 HD channels and numerous niche channels to serve all appetites. All FISION Triple Play Packages include over 260 channels as well as up to 10 Mbps Ultimate Internet complimented with commercial grade VoIP featuring unlimited calling to the US and Canada as well as caller-ID, call waiting and a find-me-follow-me feature at no additional cost to FISION subscribers.

OEN has created FISION for IPTV, Internet, Voice, Video-On-Demand (VOD) and other broadband applications, designed specifically to take advantage of the benefits of FTTH technology. OEN has acquired programming agreements for IPTV distribution from television networks in the US, Latin America, South Asia and Europe with programming in 13 foreign languages.

In addition to featuring virtually all mainstream television networks such as Fox Cable Networks, Turner, Disney/ESPN, and Starz!, FISION's programming line-up showcases new programming such as NFL Network, The Anime Network, MTV Urge, HDNet, HBO HD, The Africa Channel, BabyFirst TV, Southern Entertainment Television, GOL TV and Discovery Health. FISION will also deliver 55 channels of Hispanic TV programming, the most offered from any network in the US.
