AT&T is giving AT&T U-verse TV customers an easier and faster way to manage their U-verse TV account with the click of their remote control. AT&T announces the launch of U-verse Account Manager, an on-screen app that gives U-verse customers quick and easy access to make U-verse TV package upgrades, compare TV packages, view channel lineups, view their account summary, view product overviews and ordering information on U-verse High Speed Internet and U-verse Voice, and more.

Now when a customer wants to learn more about a TV package or sees a show they want to watch on a channel they are not subscribed to, Account Manager lets them instantly upgrade their subscription at any time, without needing to make a phone call. Account Manager is available on channel 9910 and will roll out on a market-by-market basis to all U-verse TV customers at no extra charge.

With the football and TV awards seasons approaching, U-verse TV customers can also enjoy the return of two popular TV apps on U-verse TV: TV Awards & New Fall Shows and Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football.

The TV Awards & New Fall Shows app highlights TV shows that have been nominated for recent awards, as well as new shows that are premiering this fall. The app, available on channel 95, allows you to watch and vote for nominated shows, see bios of award nominees and view information for fall shows and season premieres on your TV screen.

And for the third straight year, fantasy football die-hards are able to manage their Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football teams right from their U-verse TV with the Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football app. The app allows you to simply and conveniently track your Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football team and receive customized information on your favorite professional football teams through the AT&T U-bar. You can set up your fantasy league and team preferences online at http://att.yahoo.com/football by using your AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet master account.

These features are the latest examples of AT&T U-verse applications that improve customers' viewing experience. With the exclusive My Multiview app, you can watch four of your favorite channels at one time on your TV screen. You can also follow your favorite sports teams through the AT&T U-bar by setting up your personalized team, weather, and stock preferences through the AT&T portal with their U-verse High Speed Internet account.

U-verse TV customers can also schedule their recordings, download and watch hit TV shows on qualifying smartphones with U-verse Mobile; watch and manage recordings from a single DVR on any connected TV in the house with U-verse Total Home DVR; record up to four programs (or can't-miss games or season premieres) at once; access an extensive High Definition channel lineup with up to 130 HD channels; and more.
