OH BRAVE WARRIOR (Memorial Day)
(A Tribute to Veterans)

Father, as we come today, we are thankful for your gracious mercy and Supreme Grace. We give thanks for all of your bountiful gifts, large and small. We thank you for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and a country where we can exercise our opportunities to dream and worship thee in Spirit and in truth.
Father on this Memorial Day, let us be mindful of the men and women who have fought and died that our country might continue to be the land of the free and the home of the brave, where dreams are born and fruitful seeds are sown to your glory. Father, give us insight and wisdom to seek your guidance, your protection and your truth in all of our dealings and affairs at home and abroad.

Now Father, let us be mindful of the words that you have allowed me to pen by your Spirit as a tribute to our veterans past and present entitled, “OH BRAVE WARRIOR”; a tribute to those who dared to make a difference by serving our country with their skills, their dedications and even their lives.

Oh! Brave Warriors that you are
Protectors of our country,
On foreign lands, gusty seas and endless skies
Never knowing what fate will bring,
Only hoping that those with care
Will continue in happiness and tranquil peace,
And never be torn nor battered by bombs or soldiers
From foreign soil invading this virgin land;
Daring to take its fruitful bounty at will.

What mighty protectors are you?
Drawing your strength from God above,
Walking bolding into the arms of battle
Sometimes cold and often hot,
Fearful, but never turning away from duty,
Only the thought of task at hand to command.

We give our warmest heart tribute
With a special prayer,
For those who have fought, lost limbs and eyes,
And to the many who have given even their lives
So that others may live.
Our prayer is that you who have protected,
Will be protected
By God, our Over-all Protector.
It’s in the name of our Creator, Sustainer, and Supreme Warrior we ask it all.

I think the new Tyler Perry show is the best talk show I really enjoyed watching. The performaces of Gladys Knight and BeBe Winans had me in awe and I could felt the anointing on the set. God has surely blessed all three of these precious people with favor.

Mr. Perry, I thank God that He using you and has broadened your venue in order to reach more people and spread a positive message to a world that truely needs a spiritual uplifting. It is really refreshing.

Keep doing the "Will of God" and continue to touch as many with the gift the Father has given you.
