TelcoTV 2010 Showcases a Sold Out Exhibition Floor and Impressive Attendee Growth

, held last week in Las Vegas, Nevada announced an impressive overall increase in both registered attendees and exhibitors this year. The 2010 exhibit floor was sold out – with 27,600 net square feet secured – an 8.7% increase over the 2009 event. The trade show floor showcased 132 exhibitors, up 16.8% from last year including an amazing 33 new companies. Overall registration increased by 19%, securing TelcoTV's position as the largest video conference and expo focused on the U.S. service provider market.
TelcoTV 2010's keynote line-up included Joe Ambeault, Director, Product Development and Management, Video Services, Verizon; Alan Lefkof, Corporate VP and GM, Motorola; Russ Sharer, VP of Marketing, Occam and Steven Wright, Chair, IPTV Interoperability Forum ATIS, AT&T Network Architecture – as well as a surprise addition of Jonathan Adelstein, Administrator of the Rural Utilities Services.
"It is clear that TelcoTV 2010's central theme of finding ways to profit in a multi-screen world truly resonates with North America's telcos. As our economy continues to rebound, it is focused, targeted events like TelcoTV which will thrive," said Joe Braue, Senior Vice President and Group Director for Light Reading, which produces the TelcoTV conference and exhibition. "We are thrilled with the success of this year's show and would like to thank all of our attendees, exhibitors, speakers and sponsors."
Plans have already begun to celebrate TelcoTV's ten year anniversary in 2011. The event is scheduled for October 25-27, 2011 in New Orleans, LA, which is where the very first TelcoTV was held almost a decade ago. Occam Networks, Adtran, Nokia Siemens Networks, Calix, Skitter, Inc., Ericsson, ADB, Motorola, Echostar and Alcatel-Lucent among others, have already made commitments for the 2011 TelcoTV Conference & Expo.

Overall event registration increased by 19% from TelcoTV 2009.

A joint production of UBM TechWeb's Light Reading and the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA), TelcoTV offers a unique venue for solution providers to showcase their new product and service offerings. The event took place November 9 through 11, 2010 in Las Vegas. This year's theme, "Profiting in a Multi-Screen World," reflected the industry's challenge of making video services work for both consumers and service providers.
