Inlet Technologies introduced Spinnaker, the first Inlet product line optimized specifically for live media delivery. This professional-grade solution offers best-in-class quality, for applications such as IPTV, web streaming, PEG, broadband TV and enterprise video. Spinnaker's capabilities are demonstrated in Inlet's booth, number 325, at TelcoTV.

Spinnaker leverages encoding enhancements and an advanced toolset to deliver the bandwidth performance and the unique features necessary to provide a true broadcast experience via IP. Based upon Inlet's proven encoding technology platform, Spinnaker supports resolutions ranging from web to SD to HD. Its unique toolset can deliver content that meets the regulatory requirements of new applications like IPTV; for example, Spinnaker is the only solution of its kind on the market that supports Closed Captioning for VC-1 advanced format video. Other unique features include Picture-in-Picture, Dolby Digital AC3 pass-through and multi-language support. Local, web and SNMP interfaces facilitate efficient device management, enabling the operator to control content remotely from anywhere on the network.
