Verizon FiOS IPTV Media Guide Rolled Out in Delaware and Pennsylvania

Verizon introduces its FiOS TV interactive media guide to the company's growing number of TV customers in Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania. The new guide helps customers quickly and easily find and enjoy content from TV listings, video-on-demand catalogs and digital video recorders as well as personal music and photos from the home network.

The guide will now be a standard feature for FiOS TV customers wherever the service is offered. Future versions of the guide will add Internet radio, videos, podcasts and games to the FiOS TV multimedia platform.

FiOS TV and the new interactive media guide currently are available to more than 425,000 households in southeastern Pennsylvania and more than 105,000 households in Delaware. Verizon also offers FiOS TV in parts of western Pennsylvania, as well as in California, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas and Virginia. There is no additional charge for the media guide.

I have had fios tv since last summer. This week they installed the new giude and it SUCKs. It its too big it makes the picture small while you are looking to see what is on next. It also only lets you see 1 1.2 hours of time. You cannot delete the channels you Never watch from the guide list. It jumps 1 hours at a time thru the guide making it hard to record on the 1/2 hour marks. They seem to be promoting the channel logo more then anything. Lots of dead space on the screen. WANT OLD PROGRAMMING GUIDE BACK OR THE CHOICE if not they are as bad as comcast
