Job - Network Administrator

The Network Administrator will be responsible for the Modulus Video Network to insure a robust, redundant, and highly available network. Initially you will be focusing on switch and router administration and traffic shaping, i.e. VLANS, QOS.

You will also work closely with our Engineering, QA, and LAB networks to troubleshoot and resolve issues regarding Multicast, IGMP, UDP, TCP, and DVMRP protocols that are widely used in our environment. You will plan, develop, and coordinate the detailed design, implementation and documentation of operating systems software/hardware. Develop fault diagnosis, isolation, and resolution techniques and procedures. Determine hardware and software requirements in conjunction with Information Technology Management.

Skills required: Cisco switches and routers, LAN/VLAN, network security, Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003, and Active Directory.

Additional pluses for the right candidate are Unix/Linux, Redhat, Cent OS, bash, and perl.
