KyLinTV has just rolled-out South East TV (SETV), a television station from the Fujian province in China, as part of the largest selection of Chinese entertainment in North America: 26 live broadcast channels and a vast video library that offers subscribers more than 20,000 hours of choice.

SETV was founded in 1994 and today is watched by more than 7 hundred million viewers and broadcasts to about 50 Chinese-speaking countries worldwide. SETV reached Taiwan in 1998 and is the first and only mainland Chinese TV station from China in Taiwan. The Fujian province is one of the largest overseas Chinese provinces and SETV has many programs for the people of Hong Kong and Macao.

A program on SETV that viewers cannot get enough of is "Happy 100," a top entertainment variety show featuring hosts Ba Xiao Guang, Hong Cheng Yang and Guan Yi. This is a fun program featuring many famous guest stars that the whole family can enjoy together. Another extremely popular show on SETV is "The Faces of Superstars," a program that invites contestants who have a similar face or voice to famous stars giving them a chance to show off their talent.

Adding SETV to the KyLinTV broadcast lineup brings variety for subscribers and serves the Fujian population in North America. "The Fujian Association is one of the biggest Chinese associations," said Kenneth Cheng, Executive Vice Chairman of the Fujian American Association. "With the addition of SETV to KyLinTV's broadcast channel lineup, our members are delighted to be able to watch programs from their home town."

Other shows that can be found on SETV include "Find Files," a unique show that aims to reveal the mysteries of history and nature. It also educates viewers with information on fascinating new discoveries in science. "Beauty & Style" is a fashion segment targeting city youth that gives the latest information on fashion trends and covers an array of topics such as clothing, makeup and jewelry.

KyLinTV subscribers will have direct access to the most popular broadcasts from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. In addition, KyLinTV will broadcast US Chinese channels with programs produced exclusively for North American consumers.

Viewers can tune in to live broadcast channels on KyLinTV and watch the programs as they air. If they miss the program they wanted to watch, subscribers have the option of using the broadcast channel companion which preserves the lineup of news and entertainment programs for 24 hours, and is a feature that is unique to KyLinTV. In addition, KyLinTV subscribers can take advantage of the broadcast channel on demand, an exclusive library of the most popular programs from that channel.
