The telecommunications group of Siemens AG is presenting its line for IPTV in HDTV quality (high-definition television) at CeBIT. The new, high-resolution TV standard produces extremely sharp images, intense colors and a broad depth of field that gives the picture an almost three-dimensional quality.

KyLinTV, Inc. announced the latest slate of new programs that will become available as part of its exclusive Chinese IPTV service. Korean and Japanese movies and TV dramas are enormously popular with Chinese audiences, and this month KyLinTV has released some of the most exciting titles in an exclusive arrangement.

ECI Telecom announced that Multimedia Research Group (MRG) Inc. has ranked ECI as the top vendor for the number of IPTV Subscribers supported in Europe, based on deployments through year-end 2005. Motorola, Inc introduced the Motorola IP-STB 1100, the newest addition to the set-top platform which joined the company's IP video portfolio though the acquisition of Kreatel Communications AB.
