AT&T U-verse IPTV platform is quickly making content and features available across more screens and devices, and today announced two innovative ways to watch hit TV shows. AT&T and Microsoft announce the Oct. 15 launch of U-verse TV on Xbox 360 for U-verse customers, which lets you enjoy the U-verse TV experience on your existing Xbox 360 device, replacing the need for an extra receiver in your home. AT&T is the first TV provider in the U.S. to offer live TV service through an Xbox 360.

AT&T also announced the upcoming launch of U-verse Mobile for Windows Phone 7 devices. Beginning in November, the popular U-verse Mobile app will be preloaded so that any AT&T wireless customer with a Windows Phone 7 device — whether or not they are a U-verse TV customer — can download and watch hit TV shows while they're on the go. This is the first time an AT&T U-verse service will be available nationwide.

AT&T announces the launch of new DVR features for AT&T U-verse TV customers on U-verse Online, including the ability to schedule DVR recordings directly from the website and to easily see which of your DVR recordings are also available to view on U-verse Online.

U-verse Online, an entertainment website available at att.net/uverseonline, lets any online user watch more than 100,000 titles of TV shows, movies and video clips on your PC, and gives U-verse TV customers access to additional features that enhance their entertainment experience.

Charleston residents now have a new choice for their television and communications services powered by the most advanced technology. AT&T announced the launch of AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice services in parts of Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester counties; including the cities of Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville, Mount Pleasant, Goose Creek, Kiawah and Hanahan.

AT&T U-verse services, which are all delivered over AT&T's advanced Internet Protocol network, offer a new alternative to cable and an unmatched experience for customers. AT&T U-verse brings together your TV, broadband, home phone and AT&T wireless services – all on one bill – with unique features that provide a new level of integration, convenience and control.

AT&T is bringing more 3D content to U-verse TV screens. AT&T announces the addition of six new 3D IMAX Theatre films to the AT&T U-verse TV 3D Technology Package. U-verse TV 3D subscribers can now enjoy "Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia," "Dinosaurs Alive," "Wild Ocean" and "Mummies" in stunning 3D at no extra charge. AT&T will also add the "Bugs" and "Adventures in Animation" films in early October.

For new 3D TV owners who want to see what the 3D experience is all about, AT&T has made "Dinosaurs: Giants of Patagonia" available to every U-verse TV customer at no extra charge. You can find the films in the U-verse On Demand library under 3D in the "Featured" folder.

AT&T is giving AT&T U-verse TV customers an easier and faster way to manage their U-verse TV account with the click of their remote control. AT&T announces the launch of U-verse Account Manager, an on-screen app that gives U-verse customers quick and easy access to make U-verse TV package upgrades, compare TV packages, view channel lineups, view their account summary, view product overviews and ordering information on U-verse High Speed Internet and U-verse Voice, and more.

Now when a customer wants to learn more about a TV package or sees a show they want to watch on a channel they are not subscribed to, Account Manager lets them instantly upgrade their subscription at any time, without needing to make a phone call. Account Manager is available on channel 9910 and will roll out on a market-by-market basis to all U-verse TV customers at no extra charge

With AT&T U-verse, not only can you schedule DVR recordings on the go from your smartphone, you can now also download and watch popular shows on the BlackBerry Torch, which is available only for AT&T customers starting today in AT&T stores and online.

AT&T launches U-verse Mobile for the BlackBerry Torch smartphone, an app that lets customers take their U-verse TV experience with them, wherever they go. AT&T is the first TV provider to offer an integrated mobile app that allows you to both manage your DVR and download and watch select shows. U-verse Mobile is available today on BlackBerry App World, and is another example of how AT&T delivers more value to U-verse TV customers with continued service enhancements and innovative apps.

AT&T announced its AT&T U-verse Mobile App is now available on the App Store. The U-verse Mobile app gives U-verse subscribers the ability to download and watch popular TV content on their iPhone so they can take their U-verse TV experience with them, wherever they go. AT&T is the first TV provider to offer an integrated mobile app that allows you to both manage your DVR and download and watch select shows. The app is another example of how AT&T delivers more value to U-verse TV customers with continued service enhancements and innovative apps.

U-verse Mobile replaces the popular Mobile Remote Access for iPhone app and incorporates the ability to browse the U-verse TV program guide, view program descriptions, schedule and manage your DVR recordings, while adding the ability to download available episodes over any Wi-Fi connection, and watch them in full-screen mode on your iPhone from anywhere. U-verse TV customers already enjoy the flexibility of remote DVR management. More than 100,000 U-verse TV customers use the Web and Mobile Remote Access apps every month.

During this Chicago Cubs baseball season, AT&T and WGN-TV are offering a new app that puts fans in the director's chair to control how they watch the team compete at Wrigley Field.

AT&T U-verse TV today announced the launch of the Chicago Cubs Multiview, a new TV app that lets you view up to four different camera angles of the Chicago Cubs home games at one time, choosing from the main WGN-TV Chicago game broadcast and six alternate camera angles.

"Only U-verse TV customers have the power to choose how they watch every pitch and home run at the Chicago Cubs home games," said Dan York, president of content, AT&T. "With Chicago Cubs Multiview, fans will get a full-field look at this season's home game action from WGN. It's like you're sitting in the production booth and calling the shots. We're excited to deliver this new capability with WGN, all enabled by our advanced TV service and technology."

AT&T announces the launch of My Multiview, the latest TV app from AT&T U-verse that lets customers choose the channels displayed on screen in their Multiview.

Want to watch the news, baseball, reality TV and a cooking show at the same time? You can create your own Multiview by selecting up to 55 channels as favorites. You can watch up to four of your favorite channels on your screen at one time and control which channel appears as the main picture with audio. Instead of browsing through the program guide or surfing one channel at a time, you can tune to My Multiview to scroll through the picture-in-picture screens to see all your selected favorite channels.

In time for Wimbledon, AT&T and Tennis Channel announce the addition of Tennis Channel to the U-verse TV lineup. Tennis Channel is available on channel 660 and channel 1660 HD in the AT&T U450 package, in addition to The Sports Package, with plans for expanded future distribution across multiple AT&T screens, including AT&T mobile and U-verse Online services.

Tennis Channel is the only 24-hour, network dedicated to the professional sport and tennis lifestyle. A hybrid of comprehensive sports, health, fitness, pop culture, entertainment, lifestyle and travel programming, the network houses every aspect of the wide-ranging, worldwide tennis community. AT&T and ESPN announce the addition of ESPN 3D to the U-verse TV channel lineup. AT&T U-verse TV customers will be able to enjoy the industry's first 3D sports television network that will deliver 25 2010 FIFA World Cup matches and nearly 100 live sporting events in the next year.

The first ESPN 3D 2010 FIFA World Cup match will air on June 11, featuring South Africa vs. Mexico. Other events to be delivered in 3D include the 2010 State Farm Home Run Derby, X Games 16, Winter X Games 15, college basketball and football games and the 2011 BCS National Championship Game.

3D programming is supported on all customers' existing U-verse DVRs and receivers, without any additional set up or U-verse equipment upgrades. Customers will also need a 3D-ready TV set and 3D glasses.

Discover Video has connected many Connecticut based community TV stations to the AT&T U-verse system. Now, residents in Hartford, Wethersfield, Simsbury, East Haven, and Wallingford can watch local government, public, and education programs on AT&T U-verse. The high quality Discover Video solution uses industry leading technology from VBrick Systems and Cisco.

Discover Video's solution is unique. In addition providing high speed connectivity to AT&T U-verse, it also allows the community TV stations to simultaneously stream their channels on the Internet. Residents can watch their local station whether they are home in Connecticut, or on vacation anywhere in the world.

AT&T and Univision announce the launch of the Univision 2010 FIFA World Cup app, the first Spanish-language TV app available from U-verse TV. In addition to delivering live access to all 64 matches via Univision, TeleFutura and Galavision, AT&T will provide comprehensive Univision Spanish-language content in the U-verse TV On Demand library, and exclusive Mexican National Team Spanish content across multiple screens. AT&T is bringing fans more ways than any other provider to follow the 2010 FIFA World Cup with live and on demand coverage across screens.

AT&T announces it will roll out several AT&T U-verse TV DVR enhancements and add new functionality to the U-verse YP.COM TV app for all U-verse TV customers at no extra cost over the coming weeks.

AT&T adds more flexibility and more savings to its AT&T U-verse offers. Following the popularity of the "Choice" bundles launched in March, AT&T today introduced new "Choice" bundle options that give consumers even more savings for one year for bundling a complete quad-play of AT&T U-verse TV, U-verse High Speed Internet, U-verse Voice and wireless services — a bundle option not available from most cable providers.

AT&T U-verse Choice bundles let customers choose three services for their bundle — and select home phone or wireless as their voice option — with DVR service and premium features included, a one-year price guarantee and significant monthly savings. The new Choice quad-play bundles are the first to give U-verse consumers additional savings for choosing all four AT&T services.
