Univision Communications and AT&T announce a multi-year content agreement as part of the AT&T U-verse TV channel lineup. The agreement includes continued carriage of Univision’s owned and operated broadcast stations; affiliated stations owned and operated by Entravision Communications Corporation, Equity Media Holdings Corporation, Calipatria Broadcasting Company, and JKB Associates; and distribution of the cable network, Galavisión, and the network feeds for Univision and TeleFutura.

Dialog Telecom has launched its new IPTV service using a video distribution network based on Scopus video networking solutions. At the core of Dialog's new IPTV video distribution network is the Scopus Eldorado NMS, which offers redundancy and a centralized view of the entire network to simplify troubleshooting and help Dialog engineers maintain consistent, high-quality transmissions for 24 channels. Scopus' IRD-2900 series integrated receiver decoders receive satellite video feeds carrying both Polish and international content. Scopus UE-9000 encoders then provide local content encoding for distribution of the video to viewers' homes over IP. Dailymotion announces a distribution agreement with Hulu. The deal with Hulu follows Dailymotion's strategy of delivering the highest-quality online video entertainment experience, with premium-level programming and superior video streaming and viewing technology.

The agreement with Hulu will give Dailymotion's audience access to an additional 40,000 premium videos from Hulu's extensive online video library, including full-length episodes from major television studios, full-length feature films from major film studios, as well as news and other content from more than 130 content providers.
