Nagravision, the world's leading independent provider of value-added content protection solutions, announced it will provide Germany’s first content protection solution for video-on-demand over IP on cable operator ish’s network. Ish will be carrying out a technical trial to explore the possibilities of IPTV services over a cable network.

Alcatel announced that it has been selected by Auna as its IP Triple Play turnkey project integrator, and as the supplier for most essential network components and service delivery platforms. Auna is the second largest operator in Spain, with its own fixed telecommunications network.

Alcatel will demonstrate its end-to-end triple play solution at the Broadband World Forum (booth nr 1601) in Yokohama, Japan.
