Crackle.com announce its online web programming lineup for the new 13-week summer season. Beginning today, new episodes of comedian Owen Benjamin's "All Stars" and adult film star, Demi Delia's "Mommy XXX" will air on the same day each week, Wednesday and Thursday respectively, over the course of the 13-week season on Crackle. Five announces the launch of a landmark initiative that will allow Five's viewers to embed episodes of their favourite television shows on their websites, social networks and blogs. Five becomes the first UK broadcaster to syndicate full episodes of popular programmes for catch-up viewing on third-party websites. New research conducted by The Nielsen Company reveals the "Extreme Techies" segment stream significantly more online video content, watching up to 91 minutes (1.5 hours) per week, compared to the mean of 44 minutes for all broadband viewers. Representing eight percent of the total adult 18 and older broadband population, which equals 4.6 million viewers, this group is the most advanced of all segments in consumption of online video. comScore released a report on the Canadian online video market, based on February 2009 comScore Video Metrix data, which showed that 21 million Canadians viewed more than 3.1 billion videos online during the month. The average Canadian online video viewer spent 10 hours viewing videos in February, up 53 percent from their average viewing time last year.
