BitBand, a leading provider of video delivery solutions for Telcos' broadband IP networks, announced that it has been selected by Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) for providing IPTV services to operators from its ground station, Stockholm Teleport.

T-Online Hungary, a group member of Deutsche Telekom and Hungary's largest Internet access provider, announced that it has selected Alcatel and Microsoft TV as the suppliers for an Internet protocol television (IPTV) pilot project, based on the combination of the Microsoft TV IPTV Edition software platform and Alcatel's services integration solutions.

Deutsche Telekom AG and Cisco Systems, Inc. announced that T-Online, a division of Deutsche Telekom, is driving growth of its "T-Home" service, a converged data, voice and video (triple-play) service delivered over T-Com's broadband network. France Telecom and Buena Vista International Television (BVITV) signed an agreement at MIPTV to allow subscribers of France Telecom's IPTV and broadband platform access to Buena Vista's film library which includes productions from Touchstone Pictures and Miramax Films. Users will be able to download movies via Wanadoo broadband access or view films via their set-top boxes with the MaLigne IPTV service.

Juniper Networks, Inc. today announced that T-Com, the fixed network division of Deutsche Telekom AG, is deploying Juniper Networks E-series Broadband Services Routers and T-series core routing platforms to expand and scale its IP network to support its advanced service offerings over VDSL. The Juniper Networks routing platforms will be added to T-Com's existing installed base of Juniper Networks E-, M- and T-series routing platforms, and will provide the scalability and advanced service management capabilities necessary to deliver IP-based video services to a large number of subscribers.
