Arab Radio and Television Network and NeuLion announce a long-term partnership to distribute ART channels using NeuLion's IPTV platform in Canada. ART, through International Media Distribution, the global distribution arm of ART is the exclusive aggregator and provider of Arabic content. The new television service leverages ART/IMD's extensive library and premium content coupled with NeuLion technology for a new Arabic IPTV destination in Canada. The network has the largest Arabic movie library in the Middle East including family dramas, series, and plays.

GoBackTV announces that Duncan Cable TV of Wilmington, VT, has selected GoBackTV's RetroVue system for their upgrade to interactive digital cable. Duncan Cable TV currently delivers 75 channels of analog television, as well as DOCSIS-based, high speed broadband Internet access to 2,800 customers over its 105 miles of hybrid fiber/coax plant. The new services will initially include over 50 channels of HD cable IPTV, Video on Demand, video mosaic, switched multicast, and startover. Duncan Cable TV will also use GoBackTV's MyRV Portal middleware to provide guide and navigation tools.

Bell announces several new fibre initiatives supporting its broadband investment strategy, including the deployment of Fibre-to-the-home in Québec City and to new housing developments in Ontario and Québec, the launch of enhanced Bell Fibe Internet services, and the introduction of Bell IPTV service in 2010.

SureWest has launched its highly-anticipated Advanced Digital TV service and customers in the Sacramento region are already buzzing about the product's Whole Home DVR, crystal-clear HD, extremely fast channel change times and a host of other great new features.

Powered by the Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV software platform, Advanced Digital TV brings Whole Home DVR and many other advanced features to over 205,000 Sacramento area marketable homes on SureWest's fiber-to-the-home and copper networks. The launch coincides with new technologies that recently enhanced SureWest's copper network and allow the company to extend its video service to 25,000 existing voice and data marketable copper homes, creating a new and superior triple-play option.

EchoStar announces an agreement to deliver its ViP-TV video transport service to BTC Broadband, a provider of whole home telecommunications services in Oklahoma. BTC will receive transport of up to 49 HDTV channels to its IPTV headend.

BTC Broadband is a communications company offering a variety of cutting-edge communications and entertainment products for residential and business customers in Oklahoma, including local and long distance telephone, high speed Internet, enhanced calling features, digital television and wireless service. BTC Broadband has deployed fiber-to-the-home for delivery of high speed two-way video, voice and data services.

CenComm, Diverse Communications, LaHarpe Video & Data Company, New Windsor Cable Television, Oneida Cablevision, Reynolds Cable, and Viola Communications, have all selected Conklin-Intracom’s fs|cdn IPTV solution for the delivery of broadcast as well as on demand, standard definition and high definition MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 video services. The companies are all members of the Western Illinois Video group. The seven telcos all have existing video services and are employing the fs|cdn solution as part of their long term plans to provide enhanced viewing experiences to customers.

DISH Network and NeuLion announce a multi-year partnership to distribute certain DISH Network international channels using NeuLion's IPTV service. The partnership with NeuLion enhances DISH Network's international programming offering by providing consumers without access to satellite TV the ability to enjoy select DISH Network international channels through IPTV.

Global Gateway Media & Communications announces that its wholly owned subsidiary Speedia Media is in negotiation to finalize an agreement with a company to deliver its content over Internet Protocol using a technology referred to as IPTV.

Verizon is delivering more international content to its FiOS TV subscribers with the launch of three new channels from World TV that feature Korean, Mandarin and Greek programming. With the additions, FiOS TV subscribers now have access to 35 international channels covering 20 languages - a collection that cable can't match. The three new channels will be available in all FiOS TV markets by the end of the week.

Harmonic and Falcon IP/Complete announce that Butler-Bremer Communications has selected the IP/Complete “bird to box” video solution and Harmonic’s Direct-2 Edge solution for Butler-Bremer’s new cable IPTV service. The new Harmonic/Falcon cable IPTV solution enables Butler-Bremer to offer a comprehensive and high quality service lineup to all of its customers. Butler-Bremer also operates an IPTV service over its existing telephone network infrastructure and a fiber-to-the-home network.

Espial announces that Sogetel is preparing to deliver IP-based television and video on-demand services using Evo TV Service Platform and Espial MediaBase. In its initial launch to 1,000 customers, Sogetel will provide standard- and high-definition TV services including Video on Demand and Time-Shift TV.

EchoStar announces an agreement to deliver its ViP-TV video transport service to TCT WEST in Wyoming. TCT will receive transport of up to 42 IP-encapsulated high definition TV channels to its IP headend. The announcement was made in advance of this week's TelcoTV Conference and Expo in Orlando, Fla.

Tangerine Global has unveiled a new IPTV service that provides 120 digital TV channels and expansive HD choices to worldwide travelers. The state-of-the-art “Citrus Solution” is a seamlessly integrated entertainment and information service that uses interactive technology to deliver the ultimate in-room experience.

Fittingly, the system is debuting at the Rosewood Sand Hill, located in the technology epicenter of Silicon Valley in Menlo Park, California. Future hotel installations will be announced shortly.
