Celrun Co, Ltd. has announced its four year contract with MagiNet, a Singapore based hotel VoD service provider. MagiNet will launch its first-to-market MPEG-4 AVC HD VoD service in Q1-2006, using the IP set-top box supplied by Celrun.

Through the first trial and second deployment, Celrun delivered Mpeg-2, Mpeg-4 part 2 set top box to a core group of renowned hotel groups in the Asian region through MagiNet this year.

TANDBERG Television announced that PCCW's now Broadband TV has chosen its market-leading advanced compression solutions for a world-first roll-out of HD over DSL. The deal expands on the two companies' existing relationship and will make now TV Asia's first advanced encoding HD operator, as it deploys the awarding-winning TANDBERG HD encoding solution for MPEG-4 AVC.

Optibase, Ltd. announced that Visions West, LLC has selected the company's MGW 5100 carrier grade IPTV streaming platform for an upgrade to their Lexington, NC headend. In a deal worth more than EUR 50 million, broadband solutions provider and systems integrator Industria has been selected to roll out Ireland's first ADSL2+ network for triple-play digital service operator Magnet Networks.
