Orbit E-Commerce has agreed in principle to acquire all outstanding stock of NexTube. NexTube recently entered into a $5 million private placement with D&D Securities Company of Toronto. D&D Securities Company is an independent, management-owned investment dealer focused on serving corporate, institutional and retail investors.

The proceeds of the $5 million financing will be used to initiate the roll out of a High Speed Internet Video Services network to Universities in China through NexTube China Joint Venture. NexTube China JV is now ready for immediate deployment of it's IPTV network at Hangzhou University Park with a projected subscriber base of 30,000 in the first 12 months of operations. Hangzhou University will be the first of 11 major universities targeted in the next 36 months within a market of over 2000 universities in China.

Advanced Digital Broadcast announced that STRONG GROUP will become a distributor for ADB’s advanced line of IPTV set-top boxes. STRONG will carry the ADB 2800, 3800 and 5800 series of IPTV STBs which will be sold under the ADB and i-CAN Brands.

The ADB-2810W, its latest entry-level HD IPTV set-top box specially designed for operators looking for cost efficiency without compromising on the features. The unit supports the most deployed video standards including MPEG-4 HD/SD, WMV9, DivX and XviD. It offers 3D user interface, and UPnP-based home networking, and Windows Media Connect. The unit is fully supported by ADB’s IPTV SDK allowing for operator customisation.

MediaZone Moto announces a Pay-Per-View special for the event to be held at the famed Donington Park Raceway in Castle Donington, England on September 28, 2008. Known as the “Olympics of Motocross,” the 61st installment of the annual race pits riders from respective countries in a points-based competition across three MX disciplines. The event will not be televised live in North America but will be available globally to fans LIVE & On Demand for $14.99 on MediaZone Moto.

As previously announced, the Swedish Customs imposed customs duties on Tilgin in March 2007 and July 2008 and initiated an audit regarding additional imports. As expected, Tilgin has now received imposed customs duties of approx SEK 10 million on the additional imports. Tilgin appealed the first two decisions to the County Administrative Court and will appeal this claim as well. If Tilgin were ultimately to incur any customs duties, the company intends to claim compensation from the relevant customer.

TV Worldwide and Internap launched of a suite of digital media, Web casting and content delivery tools for federal, state and city government organizations. These services include the availability of FedEdTV, an Internet TV channel for government agencies unveiled in beta form at TV Worldwide's official Web cast of the FOSE Government Expo in March 2008. Under the agreement between Internap and TV Worldwide, Internap's CDN will be the exclusive network provider for FedEdTV, and Internap will be a charter sponsor of the programming.
